Following the latest Scottish Government update and the BHS Statements.  Lindores Equestrian re-opened on 1st June 2020, 8am-8pm, 7 days. As of 12th June it is lifting its restrictions and will now allow 2 households to train at the same time.

Our policy is continually under review and subject to change.  You must read and understand this before booking and arriving.

Booking is now simpler and instant online. No booking charges. No Disclaimer Forms. We are proud to be a paperless and cashless venue.

We have built a new hardstanding overflow car park below the working hunter grass paddock. Please ensure you park minimum 5 metres apart. There is now plenty of space to allow for this.

  • Hourly time slots available
  • Use hand sanitizer provided at every closed gateway
  • If you need to pass anyone on the ride, you must stop and pull over to one side
  • Text Anna on 07736 044 058 when you have started and finished your hack with the message ‘FULL NAME – STARTING HACK’ and at the end ‘FULL NAME – ENDING HACK’

  • Hourly time slots must be adhered too and give time to exit the arena in advance of next rider

  • Please wear gloves prior to touching equipment (cups, wings, poles, poo picking kit)

  • Get excited about this one…We’ve extended the water complex during lockdown by a third. It now offers more jumping options in and out!!!
  • A lot of ground maintenance work was undertaken during lockdown to improve our facility. There is now an open ditch marked with stone boulders that crosses parts of the course to improve water management during wet seasons. The ditch with boulders must not be jumped. Please use the crossing points.
  • Back protectors must be worn in line with British Regulations
  • One qualified coach or instructor can coach one household


12 months. Don’t forget you must carry a passport to travel a horse.


Wear up to standard safety equipment. Skull cap and back protector in line with British Regulations is mandatory when jumping on the cross country course.  Use your own equipment for horse and rider. Respect the views and opinions of other members. Maintain social distancing at all times. Ride within your capabilities and current horse and rider fitness levels.


One qualified coach or instructor may be allowed to coach. Qualified instructors must have their own public liability and must adhere to our Covid-19 Protocol.


We ask that you make your own judgement on the latest government guidelines around travelling local distances. Make every effort to avoid using any public services on route to and from our facility. Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister clarified travel guidance in a letter on 11th June to our local MSP. Nicola Sturgeon wrote ‘In rural areas what can reasonably be considered to be the local area may be wider than a 5 mile radius. This is one of the reasons why at this stage we have not placed a specific distance in law. The guidance is advisory.’ Read full letter on travel guidance here.


NEW ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM IS EASY AND QUICK. Check availability, book and pay with our new online booking system. Riders no longer have to sign a Disclaimer form at reception on arrival. The Disclaimer is part of the online booking process. YAY! The person booking online accepts liability for all named riders and should share the Terms and Conditions with their group in advance of training so everyone know the rules. Instructors are welcome to book facilities using the new online system as well. If you experience any difficulty with our new booking system please tell us! We’ll sort it quickly for you.


Arrive 15 minutes in advance of your start time. You should at the top of the cross country course for start time. Try and not linger after training if you see more people parking. If you are running late please let Anna know in advance on 07736 044 058.


Payment for facility hire is now all online via our website. Pay by credit or debit card. Our venue is now cashless. 


Will be cleaned 2 times per day. Please ONLY use these facilities if absolutely necessary.
