DESCRIPTION:If you’re attending the British Eventing Forgandenny (2) & Regional Championships at Baxterknowe Farm on 15th – 16th Aug 2026. Our BHS Approved Equestrian Training Centre is located 25 minutes from the event and can offer you safe\, clean comfortable stabling for your horse.  At Lindores Equestrian we also offer lorry/trailer pitches with optional electric hook ups\, a communal kitchen / dining space in The Bothy plus a shared toilet and shower block newly built and beautifully designed. \n\nOvernight stabling – £30/night with hay & straw\nLorry/trailer pitch (inc access to toilets & showers) – £15/night\nHook up – £15/night\n\n*Please note\, all horses are to be vaccinated up to 1 year. SUMMARY:The Howden Way: TAP Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:This Day Camp will include two ridden sessions coached by Shelagh Steven\, with one session in the morning and one session in the afternoon. The structure of the ridden sessions will involve a flatwork session in the morning and then a session of your choice in the afternoon from the options of polework\, jumping on grass or XC. In addition to the ridden sessions there will be a lunchtime talk about bit and bridle fitting from Jen Roy for all participants. Jen is also offering a few individual bit and bridle fitting sessions\, if you would like to have one please book onto it in addition to the day camp booking. One of our TAP partners D&H will aslo be in attedance to provide advice and answer any questions about feeding in one to one sessions. Please book onto the sessions you would like to do e.g. flatwork in the morning and XC in the afternoon. Day stabling (including straw) is included within the price of the day camp. \nThe Howden Way Thoroughbred Aftercare programme (TAP) offers subsidised training sessions throughout the country for anyone with a thoroughbred. TAP aims to support the transition of ex-racehorses into their new careers post racing\, by providing supportive\, fun and educational training sessions. TAP training is delivered by selected level 3 qualified (or above) coaches within British Eventing\, British Dressage and British Showjumping\, all whom hold their necessary compliance documents; (DBS/ First aid/ Safeguarding/ Insurance) and have a specialism for working with thoroughbreds. \nAll thoroughbreds are eligible to attend the training which covers all levels\, from those taking their first steps on the re-training journey through to those further along this process. \nThe Howden Way Thoroughbred Aftercare programme provides further support and guidance with a range of extensive online resources to support anyone taking on an ex-racehorse.
